RESIDENTS are being asked to stay away from the Alexandra Hospital following another outbreak of the highly contagious norovirus.
Wards at the hospital, as well as Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre and Worcestershire Royal Hospital, currently have restrictions in place.
Only immediate family and a maximum of two visitors per patient are being allowed access.
Anyone with any symptoms of norovirus infection such as diarrhoea and/or vomiting are being reminded to stay at home.
For advice, people can telephone their GP or NHS Direct rather than risking transmitting the infection further.
