A MAN jas been arrested and charged with an offence involving the firing of an air rifle, after it was reported that a pupil had been struck by a stray pellet at a Redditch school.

Police went to Ispley Middle School in Winyates Way after receiving a call at 10.38am on Tuesday, December 18, to say that a boy walking in a courtyard there had been hit in the upper chest by a pellet fired from beyond the school grounds.
