ARMY explosives experts have been working with police in Redditch after two rocket launchers were reported at a house in Matchborough.

Police have said that a resident discovered the two rocket launchers in undergrowth in the Matchborough area on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 12, and took them back to his house in Croome Close, before calling the police.

The house was cordoned off while police liaised with army explosive experts, but it was decided that it wouldn’t be necessary to evacuate the area, and the rocket launchers were taken to Redditch Police Station on the morning of Thursday, December 13 for further examination.

Inquiries are continuing into where the rocket launchers came from.

If he knew they were dodgy why did he call the Police after carrying them home..Why not call from the bushes or wherever they were found?
