YOUNGSTERS at an Inkberrow First School took a step back in time to investigate life in Ancient Rome.
As part of their Roman topic, the years three and four pupils held a Roman Day recently, making their own costumes and accessories and having a day playing Roman games, having a mock sword fighting competition and dancing.
Two pupils also played the violin and all the children sat down to a Roman feast.
Parents came to the event in the afternoon to look at the children’s work, and see the outfits and watch the activities.
