Studley man remanded in custody for GBH on Redditch man

A MAN was remanded in custody when he appeared in court on Monday, December 10, charged in connection with an incident in Redditch which led to another man being taken to hospital with head injuries.
Dale Gardiner, aged 29, of Greys Road, Studley, was arrested and charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after police were called to a report of an assault at Harport Road, Greenlands, at around 10.20pm on Friday, December 7.
A 24-year-old man remains in hospital after being taken there by ambulance following the incident which led to the scene being cordoned off by officers and door-to-door enquiries being carried out.
Gardiner appeared before Redditch magistrates when he was committed to appear at Worcester Crown Court next Tuesday, December 18, and remanded in custody until then.
