Redditch author celebrates launch of new book

Robbie Slaughter signs a copy of his new book.
A REDDITCH author celebrated the publication of his book “For God, For Country ... For Love” with a launch party at his home last week.
Robbie Slaughter, a former teacher turned businessman, spent a number of years researching his book in England, France and the USA and it is the true story of a young man from Virginia and a London girl as the events of history draw them together.
It’s a fascinating story combining war, romance, social and military history, and is already receiving great reviews.
Family and friends gathered at the launch to congratulate Mr Slaughter’s book and to wish him success.
Details of his book and how to obtain a copy are available at freewebstore.org/mybookstore and proceeds from sales will be going to the Royal British Legion.
