IT really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Studley, thanks to the efforts of a volunteer at a High Street charity shop.
Jane Brisbourne, who is a volunteer for Warwickshire Age UK’s Studley shop took it upon herself to bring some festive magic to the window of the shop, much to the delight of fellow volunteers and shoppers.
The shop’s manager, Lee-Anne Sleem, said: “Our window nows looks absolutely wonderful thanks to Jane’s idea and all her hard work, using bits and pieces from the shop to make our snowman and festive display.
“We’re so grateful to her for bringing this wonderful Christmas spirit to the shop.”
And she added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers who work so hard for Age UK in our shop.”
The shop is currently running a raffle to win a delicious Christmas hamper, with items all donated by volunteers. Tickets are £1 and the draw is on December 20.
