Christmas cheer brought to Redditch Association for the Blind

WORCESTERSHIRE county councillors Juliet Brunner and Brandon Clayton popped into a Christmas party for the Redditch Association for the Blind and added their own special cheer when they announced they were making a donation from their Divisional Funds.
The £1,000 will go towards equipment for the visually impaired members.
Coun Brunner said: " I'm really delighted that our donation will make a real difference to the visually impaired.”
Coun Clayton added: “The Redditch Association for the Blind has always raised funds by themselves so I'm pleased we've been able to help contribute to their good work."
Delighted secretary for the club, Mary Birkett, said: “This donation came as quite a surprise and we are really grateful for the councillors’ support. It will make a huge difference to our members."
