FOR the second year running staff members at Woodfield Middle School set aside their razors for an entire month to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer with Movember.
Pupils and staff donated loose change throughout the month, and in a last minute addition to their fundraising antics the male staff agreed that if enough money was raised they would only shave off half their facial hair on the final school day of the month, and spend an entire day teaching with half-moustaches, much to the amusement of the pupils.
The school has managed to raise £50 so far with more money still due to come in.
