THE Salvation Army in Redditch is asking for toys and gifts from residents that it can give to families in need this Christmas as part of its annual Toy Appeal.
Anyone with unwanted toys, gifts or non-perishable foods they are willing to donate, should take them to the Salvation Army Hall in Ipsley Street or to the Salvation Army charity shop on Evesham Road in Crabbs Cross.
This Saturday, December 8, The Salvation Army band will also be playing carols outside the Evesham Road shop from 10am, followed by a performance in the Kingfisher shopping centre next Saturday, December 15 from 10.30am.
