PUPILS and staff at Woodfield Academy are preparing to follow the Yellow Brick Road this week in the school’s production of The Wizard of Oz.
Dorothy, the scarecrow, the cowardly lion and the tin man will be treading the boards and singing the songs made famous by the classic MGM film.
A spokesman for the school, said: “We are extremely proud of our pupils in the cast who have been working incredibly hard to learn lines and dance routines.”
The play is being performed on Wednesday, December 5, and Thursday, December 6 from 7pm in the school hall. Tickets are available from the school.
