Matchborough youngsters look forward to spring

MATCHBOROUGH First School pupils have been doing their bit to help the town blossom in Britain in Bloom 2013 by joining local councillor Juliet Brunner in planting hundreds of bulbs in and around the school.
The school which has previously won a Gold award in the Schools in Bloom category, was only too happy to help.
Coun Brunner said: “I'm so pleased the school was able to help plant bulbs. Matchborough is going to look beautiful next spring so I do hope the judges will be impressed with our efforts.”
