Playground perfection thanks to county councillors' support

COUNTY councillors for Arrow Valley East, Juliet Brunner and Gay Hopkins, stopped by Roman Way First School recently to check out the new playground markings
Friends of Roman Way First School in Winyates applied to the councillors for funding from their divisional funds to enable more exciting play in the playground and to support the Healthy Lifestyles agenda. Now hundreds of children will benefit from the improvements.
The children were consulted and had input into the designs and decided what they would like to see in their playground.
The councillors said: “We were delighted to support this bid. It was great to see the children having so much fun and keeping healthy at the same time.”
