FORGE Mill will be celebrating in old fashioned style this Christmas as it opens is doors as host to a Victorian craft fair.

The event will run on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2. from 11.00am-4.00pm and have a variety of stalls selling unique gifts for all the family.

There will also be entertainment from Alcester Victoria Silver Band, a demonstration of Victorian liquorice making and the opportunity to join in with carol singing, led by Indigo Arts.

Children will have the chance to visit Father Christmas in his grotto between 11am and 3pm while adult visitors enjoy some festive refreshments.

Councillor Luke Stephens, whose portfolio covers leisure and culture, said: “What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than by coming down to Forge Mill’s Victorian Crafts Fair and enjoying a festive trip back in time. There will be plenty of fun for all for family.”

It is free for children to attend the event and there is a £1 entry fee for adults.
