Celebrations as Age UK reopens its renovated Studley shop
5:30pm Thursday 8th November 2012 in News
AGE UK Warwickshire is celebrating its new look Studley High Street shop, which has undergone an extensive refurbishment.
The investment into the shop includes new flooring, lighting, displays and product stands to showcase the quality and diverse range of clothing and products on sale.
The flooring and lighting bring a fresh and welcoming ambience, while the displays and centre stands enable customers to browse the shop with ease.
The shop was officially opened recently by Councillor Neville Beamer, chairman of Stratford District Council.
Age UK Warwickshire’s shops manager Corrie Rees said: “Studley is one of the last of our shops to be refurbished and since the refit customers have been delighted with the way our shop looks.
“Some clients say that it looks like a boutique and they have to keep coming back, just in case they miss out on something.
“Age UK Warwickshire is continually looking for good quality clothing and accessories so come on ladies, look through your wardrobes and have a good turnout of any blouses, dresses, skirts, jackets and coats. If you haven’t worn them in the last six months, please donate them to us.”
The funds raised through the sale of donated goods to the county’s shops support services such as transporting people to lunch clubs and day care, as well as befriending.
Age UK Warwickshire is committed to providing quality services which meet the needs of older people within Warwickshire.
