Centenarian Doris Annie Deeley
A MOCKLEY Manor resident celebrated a very special milestone recently when she turned 100-years-old.
Doris Annie Deeley was born on October 30, 1912 in the Black Country and was the youngest of five children.
Her two sisters lived to an impressive 101 and 102.
She married her childhood sweetheart Leslie Deeley in 1936 and was happily married for nearly 40 years before Leslie sadly died in 1975.
Doris, who has one daughter and three grandsons, lived in Henley-In-Arden before moving to Mockley Manor care home, in Ullenhall, when she was 92.
She is described as being a very happy woman.
