REDDITCH based Mettis Aerospace recently celebrated the achievements of its apprentices.
At a recent awards show certificates were presented to first year apprentices as well as those who have fully completed their programmes.
The awards were also an opportunity to announce the highly-acclaimed ‘apprentice of the year award’ which was presented to Business Management apprentice Alex Read.
Alex completed his two year NVQ in Business Management in June 2012 and is now a full-time business development coordinator at the Windsor Road based facility.
Directors from Mettis Aerospace, alongside representatives from training partner MGTS (Midland Group Training Services) presented the Awards.
Sara Andrews, from the company, said a big congratulations to all involved.
“Developing technical skills and future leadership talent is the reason Mettis Aerospace invest in our Apprenticeship Scheme,” she said.
“There has been a significant transformation of the programme over recent months, and I was delighted to see these young people presented with their awards which they have worked very hard to achieve.”
