TOWNSFOLK enjoyed being pampered at a Bromsgrove charity shop’s fun day event.

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust shop, in Mill Lane, held the fun day on Saturday, October 27.

The event included staff giving makeovers, an appearance from a David Beckham look-a-like, and a tombola.

Staff and residents from Terryspring Court also attended, so they could see how the charity raise money in shops, which then goes back to homes like the Redditch one.

The shop is appealing for people to donate items to the shop.

If a donation is too heavy to carry to the shop, collections can be organised.

The trust’s shop is also looking for volunteers.

For more details, call in to the shop and talk to Betty or Jenny.

Donations can be handed into the shop or can be arranged to be collected by calling the shop’s staff on 01527 579294.
