FORGE Mill Needle Museum will be getting in the medieval mood this half term in preparation for its medieval festival.
Saint George and the Dragon will be the activity on Tuesday, May 27, where children will be able to make a fearsome, firebreathing dragon and design their own knight's shield based on the traditional folk legend.
The activity on Wednesday, May 28 is titled Storm the Castle and will give children an opportunity to explore the world of medieval siege weapons by creating their own model of a catapult.
The workshops are scheduled to take place between 1-3pm and all those attending will receive free entry into the medieval festival on June 7 and 8.
All workshops are £4 and booking is essential.
