TWO Studley brownies have been spreading their wings to support the RSPB.

Phoebe Kirkland and Sophia Potter from 2nd Studley (St Mary's) Brownies have given their backing to the RSPB which is helping birds which are losing their natural habitats.

With the help of supporting mums and dads, the brownies hammered away and made 35 new bird boxes as part of their "Friends to Animals" badges.

Father of one of the brownies, Paul Davis, said: "It was an absolute pleasure to assist."
