THE highly acclaimed London Festival Opera company will perform show-stopping arias when they visit Worcestershire.

The group will be at the Malvern Theatres on Tuesday, staging a heady mixture of singing and soaring melodies from the likes of Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, Bizet, and Offenbach.

Featuring period costumes and a live chamber ensemble, the show incorporates arias from Tosca, The Magic Flute, Carmen, La Traviata, The Barber of Seville, right through to Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffman and Strauss's Die Fledermaus.

For the special Christmas-themed show in Malvern, La Traviata, La Bohème, and Trial by Jury will be included, along with a generous helping of festive carols.
