THE virtuosic Urban Folk Quartet, born from the unique melting pot of the Midlands folk music scene, will play live in Worcester.
The band began in June 2009 and played in the UK, Italy, Belgium and Spain in their first three months together; headlining major festivals and winning the Spanish International Folk Competition in Plasencia.
The quartet, comprising of Joe Broughton, Paloma Trigas, Frank Moon and Tom Chapman, have played with the Chieftains, the Albion Band, Feast of Fiddles, Carlos Nunez, the Destroyers, the Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Chris While and Bellowhead amongst many others.
