YOUNG buccaneers are guaranteed a swashbuckling time this May Bank Holiday as Pirate Weekend sails into Cadbury World.

Dropping anchor at the famous Bournville attraction from May 5 to 7, Pirate Weekend is jam-packed with a treasure trove of interactive family fun and chocolatey treats.

Visitors are encouraged to don their best eye-patches and pirate guise for the finest fancy dress competition on the seven seas with the chance to get their hands on some special Cadbury loot.

The Cadbury World crewmates will also be joining in with the fun, dressed up in their best pirate gear for the occasion.

Families can enjoy a shipload of pirate-themed entertainment in the Cadbury World outdoor marquee before tucking into a selection of tasty treats in the Cadbury Café. To complete the day, young shipmates can transform themselves with pirate face painting available throughout the day for a small charge.

The adventure continues throughout Cadbury World’s chocolatey zones where guests can travel back 1,000 years to the Aztec Jungle, discovering the origins of the cocoa bean, through to taking a magical journey aboard a ‘Beanmobile’ on the Cadabra ride.

Guests can watch the skilled Cadbury World chocolatiers in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone, as well as choosing their favourite treat – from marshmallows to popping candy – to add to a delicious pot of warm melted Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Visitors can then catch their favourite Cadbury characters in the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone – an interactive cinema experience complete with motion seats – before heading to the Purple Planet to discover a range of interactive digital delights. No visit is complete without a stop off at The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop – the perfect place to stock up on favourite Cadbury treats.

All entertainment is included in the standard admission price.
