THE countdown to panto season is well and truly on, and rehearsals for this year’s Swan Theatre Pantomime are in full swing – oh yes they are!

But this year’s Swan Theatre panto is set to be truly dreamy for more reason than one… Not only will this be the Worcester Repertory Company’s first ever staging of pantomime-of-dreams, Sleeping Beauty, but another dream comes true as former Worcester Rep actor Oliver Brooks makes a return to the company following a two-year run in the West End’s Matilda – The Musical as the infamous and iconic Miss Trunchbull.

Also starring Ben Humphrey as everyone’s favourite Dame Ginny, Rep stalwart Liz Grand as Wicked Witch Carabosse, and star of stage and screen Victoria Lucie as Princess Aurora, you can expect all of the characters that you know and love, plus plenty of surprises along the way.

Ben Humphrey, who is also directing the show, said: “It’s fantastic to be working with a brand new script, which is fresh, vibrant and sparkling with humour. And to have Oliver back with us this year is an absolute treat – it really is a stellar cast.”

With dazzling costumes, stunning sets and audience participation aplenty, the Worcester Rep’s latest all-singing, all-dancing spectacular will be everything you could have dreamed of, and more.

The show, at Worcester's Swan Theatre, runs from December 4 to January 7.

Tickets cost from £13.50 from the box office on 01905 611427 or via worcesterlive.co.uk.
