REDDITCH Operatic Society (ROS) will be spreading the love around with a fabulous production of the hit musical comedy Sister Act.

ROS nuns will be raising their voices for audiences at the Palace Theatre from Tuesday, November 21 until Saturday, November 25 with performances at 7.30pm each night as well as a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Showing for the first time at the Palace Theatre, Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film of the same name, featuring original music.

When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found - a convent.

Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover.

Soon, the gangsters are giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.

Kelly-Louise Mitchell, committee and cast member at ROS, said: "Get your 'Sister Act' together and take a trip back to the 1970s for big hair, bold songs and a sparkly habit or two. The show is fun, fabulous and you’ll definitely leave the theatre singing

She added: "Tickets are really selling fast now for this production so if you want one – don’t wait to buy them on the door or you might be disappointed.”

Tickets cost from £17 from Ann Duffin on 01527 527363.

Alternatively, pop into the Palace Theatre box office, or book online or via 01527 65203.

Tickets bought through the theatre are subject to a £1 booking fee per ticket up to a max of £4.
