PEOPLE in Alcester and the surrounding district are being invited to an evening of music entertainment from community choir Tarantara.
The event, on October 7 at St Nicholas Church, has been organised by Alcester Refugee Fund, an organisation which aims to help refugee children from war torn countries including Syria and Iraq.
It was founded by Frank Wood and runs through a partnership with the Christian charity, Open Doors UK.
The goal is to raise funds while also creating awareness of the challenges and needs faced by these children.
As well as music from the 60-strong choir, on the night, there will also be a talk from someone from Open Doors UK and film clips.
The event, starting at 7.30pm, costs £12 which includes refreshments.
For more information or tickets, contact Frank Wood on 01789 400300.
