THE Mersey Beatles are a band at the peak of their powers right now so don't miss them as they return, by popular demand, to Redditch as part of their world tour.

Beautifully designed costumes and replica guitars, amps and drums help to create the look and sound of the Beatles.

For all this attention to detail there is still a sense that The Mersey Beatles are just being themselves and there's a refreshing authenticity about the way they present Beatles music.

Being from Liverpool, those famous accents come naturally to The Mersey Beatles, whether it is in song or speech.

Crucially, The Mersey Beatles are not made up of a cast.

They are childhood friends from Liverpool who share a love of Beatles music.

As Liverpool’s favourite Beatles tribute band and voted as best Beatles band by the British Beatles fan club, they have racked up more than 3,500 performances at the Cavern Club alone.

They have headlined festivals and events the world over.

The show, at the Palace Theatre, consists of all era Beatles classics in full costume.

From Love me do to Let it be via Beatlemania and Pepperland.

A spokesman from the theatre said: "Like the original Fab Four, The Mersey Beatles are Liverpool lads born and bred. No phoney accents needed, no script required.

"They react and interact with the audience in the relaxed and natural way of their role models and all the songs are performed in the original recorded key.

"When all of this is put together it means the best music ever made is performed with the spontaneity, energy, excitement and respect which this fantastic music deserves."

The show is on September 9.

Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £18 (inclusive of booking fee £1 per seat up to a maximum £4).
