A WRITER on long running Radio 4 drama The Archers will be bringing his new play No Finer Life to Inkberrow.
Graham Harvey, who has written more than 600 episodes of the popular drama, will bring his play No Finer Life to the spiritual home of The Archers on June 10.
The true but unlikely tale of an unlikely Cotswold hero and an enduring romance.
The play, set in the Oxfordshire countryside at the end of World War Two, follows a young Somerset land girl who sets off in search of a bestselling author in the darkest days of war.
The story moves between the 1940s and the present day, reflecting that the love of the countryside and the need to protect it are timeless.
After the show Graham will take part in an after-show conversation about all aspects of his work.
The play is on June 10 at 7.30pm at Inkberrow Village Hall.
