FOLLOWING last year's brilliant 10th anniversary celebration independent, green-fields rock festival 2000trees have announce their first set of acts for this summer's event.

2000trees Festival is located on Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and is set to take place on Thursday 6, Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July.

Festival organiser James Scarlett says: "We had a phenomenal 10th anniversary last year. The atmosphere was so special and the feedback was just incredible, so it was always going to be a tough task to top that, but all our efforts have gone into doing just that and we are unbelievably excited for 2017.

"As a 100 per cent independent festival, we have always sought to maintain the intimate, friendly and fun vibe that sets smaller events apart and we are growing organically with amazing ideas in the pipeline to help 2000trees Festival to really flourish as one of the best small festivals in the UK."

Slaves will headline the main stage on Saturday night (8th July).

Also set to appear are Essex five piece, and top 10 album chart rockers Nothing But Thieves, Leeds legendary noiseniks Pulled Apart by Horses, ex-Reuben front man and now successful solo gentleman Jamie Lenman, the most exciting (and the loudest) band in Kent Feed The Rhino and fresh from recently supporting Weezer, Dinosaur Pile-Up.

Tickets cost £83 for a two-day ticket (Friday and Saturday) and £100 for a full three-day ticket (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

The multi-award-winning 2000trees Festival is a 10,000 capacity music festival set in the rolling Cotswold Hills.

Tickets include camping and a friendly, intimate atmosphere. There is also a range of amazing food and locally produced ciders, ales and lagers available.

2000trees Festival will showcase more than 120 of the absolute best new and underground acts from the worlds of rock and indie.
