TREE tops are glistening over at Cadbury World, as the talented chocolatiers unveil their colourful Christmas tree creation built entirely from Cadbury chocolate.

Helping to get visitors to the Bournville-based attraction in the festive spirit, the Christmas tree took Cadbury World chocolatiers, Jenny Malenoir, Gail Deeley, Eve Turner and Perry Baylis, just two days to make.

Layers of Cadbury milk chocolate form the basis of the tree, whilst hand-tempered white chocolate poured over the top creates a thick snow covering, complete with icicles.

The tree – which weighs in at an impressive 42kg – is adorned with a variety of intricately piped decorations complete with festive well-wishes and sprinkled with silver, red and gold edible glitter.

Found nestled under the tree are gifts, beautifully presented in ornate chocolate wrapping paper and ribbon.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, says: “Christmas at Cadbury World is truly magical and our chocolatiers’ impressive creations never fail to provide our visitors with a heavy dose of festive cheer.”

As well as making show-stopping creations, the on-site chocolatiers will be working harder than elves in a toyshop, crafting beautiful handmade treats and gifts that are perfect to go under the tree.

These will be available in the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, alongside other much-loved seasonal products.

Elsewhere at the attraction, the hunt to find who fits Cinderella’s glass slipper is on, as Cadbury World’s Cinderella pantomime takes place every Saturday and Sunday until December 18, before a final three shows on December 20 to 22.

The sounds of sleigh-bells and reindeer hooves spell the arrival of the big man himself, who will be flying in to Cadbury World to continue the Christmas cheer.
