A COUPLE of English ‘Sporting Legends’ will be appearing in Malvern next month.

One is Peter Shilton (OBE), one of the world’s most famous goalkeepers and England’s most capped footballer with 125 appearances, and among the many honours which he proudly possesses are two European Cup winner’s medals. He played an extraordinary 1,300 competitive matches.


Joining him on stage at Malvern’s Forum Theatre on Thursday, September 8, will be popular football commentator, Motty - John Motson.

Motson (OBE), has been on our screens and radio since 1971. He has commentated on over 1,500 matches for television and radio, including numerous FA Cup and World Cup finals and was recently voted the UK’s best soccer commentator of all time.

Joining the sporting pair on stage will be Kevin Connolly, the UK’s number one sports impressionist and star of TV and Radio’s, Dead Ringers.

The evening will be hosted by Gary Newbon, who has been a TV sports presenter both with ITV and Sky for around four decades.
