A WONDROUS odyssey will be coming to the heart of the Midlands next week.

Lunar festival, coming from the team behind Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival and Moseley Folk Festival, promises to be inspiring, edifying and a little bit different with something for everyone.

Taking place from June 3 to June 5 in the stunning Umberslade Estate, the festival is set in the spiritual home of Nick Drake (Tanworth In Arden) less than 10 miles from the bustling heart of Birmingham, yet a whole world away in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Umberslade Estate is an idyllic rural setting, with a full working farm, rolling hills, tree-shaded meadows and lush parks - perfect for a festival.

Headliners for this year's event include Super Furry Animals, Mercury Rev, Television, The Zombies, Badly Drawn Boy, Matt Berry & The Maypoles as well as many more.

There will also be late night club parties, special guest DJs and something for all the family including arts, crafts, activities and games

It will feature artisan and gourmet street food including a range of veggie, vegan and Indian cuisine and fully licenced bars.

Quiet family camping is available on the children's farm and families will have free access to the children's farm over the weekend.
