IF you want to avoid any Halloween hauntings and would rather enjoy a quiet night of folk music instead, then Bromsgrove's Artrix is the place to be.

Luke is a young Roots Singer/Songwriter from Canterbury, Kent, who in 2013 was nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for both the Horizon Award for Best Emerging Talent and The Young Folk Category.

With a bold, distinctive voice and a sweet, percussive guitar style, Luke is a confident and captivating live performer.

Following numerous shows around the UK making a name for himself playing solo for the last few years, opening for artists such as, Marillion, Show of Hands, Martyn Joseph and more, Luke is now back on the road with his trio.

In late 2014 Luke decided to form the trio, having met Connor Downs (percussion) and Andy Sharps (bass) at college.

Their collaboration resulted in the critically acclaimed CD This Family Tree, already named as one of The Telegraph’s Best Folk Albums of 2015.
