THE Leonore Piano Trio will perform pieces by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and David Matthews in a concert at Bromsgrove's Artrix Theatre on October 16.
Gemma Rosefield, on cello, Benjamin Nabarro on violin and pianist Tim Horton - already distinguished soloists in their own right - came together to form the trio three years ago.
Their programme on October 16, from 8pm, will start with Beethoven's first piano trio - promising to be full of the composer's "youthful energy and drive".
They will continue with David Matthews' first piano trio, which was inspired by his visit to the Hebrides.
And the concert ends with Mendelssohn's second piano trio, complete with melodies that the organisers say is "sure to send the audience home humming".
Tickets, costing £17, with £3 concessions for the disabled, unemployed or full time students over 25, are available at artrix.co.uk or by phone on 01527 577330
