A GROUP who sold millions of hit singles is set to perform live at a Bromsgrove venue this October.

Legendary soul group The Real Thing were formed in Liverpool in the 1970s and went on to become one of the best selling groups of the decade.

They are perhaps best known for their massive hit You To Me Are Everything, - a number 1 in the UK.

They also had further hits with Can’t Get By Without You and Can You Feel The Force, and top 10 success with You’ll Never Know What You’re Missing and Whenever You Want My Love.

The band enjoyed a resurgence in the late 1980s with remixes of several of their hits becoming club favourites.

Their hits have also been sampled and covered by artists worldwide, including Mary J Blige, Phillip Bailey of Earth, Wind and Fire, Courtney Pine, Daft Punk and the Freeloaders.

The three original vocalists, Chris Amoo, Eddie Amoo and Dave Smith, are together again for a new tour which heads to the Artrix Theatre in School Drive, from 8pm on Saturday, October 24.

Tickets for the show costs £23, £21 for over 60s and students.

Tickets are available by calling the box office on 01527 577330 or visit artrix.co.uk.
