A SIXTIES rock legend is set to entertain music lovers at the Artrix Centre.

Andy Fairweather Low and his band The Low Riders, will be appearing at the School Drive-based venue at 7.30pm on Sunday, September 20.

In 2014, the Welsh star celebrated 50 years in music.

He first came to prominence as the lead singer in Amen Corner. During the 1960s the band saw them clock up hit after hit with songs including Bend Me Shape Me, and Hello Suzy, (If Paradise is) Half As Nice.

Andy went on to work with a range of musicians including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Roger Waters, Joe Cocker and Steve Winwood.
