NATURALLY mischievous and witty comedian Shappi Khorsandi will be coming to the Palace Theatre.

After having a child she didn't do a show last year, but now she is back and it's forward march for Shappi.

Reflecting on the good things, she celebrates her haphazard, zigzag towards her dreams.

Throughout she explores the differences between adult and childhood friendships, her interesting pregnancy cravings, eccentric family and the wonders of Twitter.

She also talks about the struggles and triumphs of being a female stand-up comedian, dipping in and out of anecdotes about her career, trolls, criticism and praise.

A spokesman from the theatre, said: "She introduces us to friends, family and total strangers who have helped her on her personal yellow brick road. Her whip-crack jokes are effortlessly funny as she handles every subject with a razor sharp wit, softened only by her deliciously mischievous delivery and endless charm.

"She's feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny in her comical ponderings."

The show, suitable for those aged 16 plus, is on Saturday, September 26 at 8pm.

Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £14.75 (inclusive of booking fee 75p per ticket up to a maximum £3).
