REDDITCH Fire Station on Birmingham Road will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday, August 15 from 11am until 3pm for its annual open day.
Visitors will have the exciting opportunity to get a closer look at fire engines and equipment that firefighters use on a regular basis.
The firefighters will also be providing fire safety advice and hosting an array of demonstrations throughout the day, which will include a simulated house fire and road traffic collision.
If that’s not thrilling enough, the public will also get the chance to test their skills and see if they have got what it takes to become a firefighter in a challenging firefighter test.
The Young Firefighters Association will be showing off some of these skills during another demonstration.
Refreshments will also be available throughout the day.
