A WORCESTERSHIRE band who hit the indie scene with their debut album two years ago have announced a Birmingham warm-up show before they play one of the biggest UK festivals this month.

Peace, made up of Harrison Koisser, Doug Castle, Dom Boyce, and Sam Koisser, from Worcester and Droitwich, will take to the stage for an intimate show at The Institute, in Digbeth, on August 27, the day before the world-renowned Reading and Leeds Festival kicks off.

The announcement comes off the back of the four-piece's new album release, Happy People, which immediately charted at number 12 in the UK at the end of July.

After festival season has ended, the band will be heading out on a 13-date autumn tour, which includes a show at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall, where the band supported Bombay Bicycle Club in December last year.
