A REDDITCH band are appealing for help so they can record a new album.
Captain Jeffrey, a five-piece funk blues rock band, will be launching a Kickstarter campaign with a special gig at the Woodland Cottage on August 1.
The band, who play a lot of their own material, will be one of the many local acts at this year's Morton Stanley Festival, taking place in August.
Bassist Sam Faux said: "We're all from the Redditch area and have been gigging locally for the last couple of years. We'd love some exposure and to bring Redditch music to a wider audience."
He admitted that original music can be a hard sell and appealed for any help.
