AS the silly season approaches, Bromsgrove's Artrix is hosting a double bill of comedy featuring two top comics trying out their material before they head off to next month’s Edinburgh Festival.

Kevin Day is one of the most in-demand comedy writers in the UK, having worked on a number of hit panel shows including Have I Got News For You and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Now he’s losing a bit of hair and possibly a bit of his mind so he’s making up for it with an outrageously funny routine.

Patrick Morris is one of the most exciting young stand-ups on the comedy circuit.

Having started at just 19 years of age, he’s gone from strength to strength.

Regrettably well behaved as a child, Patrick has been making up for lost time for the last six months and doing all the things he probably shouldn’t have.

A spokesman from the venue said that this is an unmissable opportunity to see some of the UK’s hottest comedy talents in action.

Kevin Day and Patrick Morris are performing in the Artrix Studio on Saturday, July 25 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £12 and are available from the box office on 01527 577330 or online at artrix.co.uk.
