REDDITCH'S best and brightest music acts will be performing at a very special showcase at the Palace Theatre.

Local Live 2015, spread over two nights, is promising residents the chance to see the best up-and-coming bands and solo musicians.

Acts playing live include singer songwriter Stuart Woolfenden, likened to Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz, who played last year's Morton Stanley Festival.

Other acts performing include indie funk band Marloes, singer-songwriter and ex-frontman of the band Our Mutual Friend Jake Goodall, rock and roll band Thirteen Shots, Heinz-Sight, Denim , and Bob Gessey, as well as others.

A spokesman from the theatre said: "Come watch our brilliant local bands in these two electric and unforgettable nights when they take the stage to give you the high of a lifetime.

"These are the nights for fun, music, friends, family, talent, and just a great time... what more could anyone ask for."

The show, suitable for those aged 12 and above, is on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24.

Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £10 or £15.25 for both nights (inclusive of booking fee 75p per ticket up to a maximum £3).
