THE New Wolsey Theatre, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse are in partnership to create new productions using young theatre makers. They will become the writers, devisors, actors and producers of theatre for young people by young people.

They’ll be appearing in the Room Upstairs of the Palace Theatre in Redditch in this intense look into the psyche of whimsical wishes and thoughts, on Saturday, May 16.

Think of the times when you wake up and just for a moment you don’t know where you are, or even who you are.

Those moments can be terrifying, but they can be thrilling too.

It’s almost as if you’ve been given the chance to be someone else for a day, but as you lay in bed your life, your worries, your joys all slowly faded back into view and you’ve missed your chance.

But what if you could really choose?

What if you could wake up one day and decide to be someone else – not someone completely different, but someone who doesn’t find waiting in traffic so irritating, or someone who reads more books and spends less time checking Facebook.

Four young theatre makers have decided that they’ve got just enough time left to change the course of their lives forever – so they’re going to exchange the parts of their personalities they’ve never much liked for the alternative traits they’ve always wanted.

So come and see how they’re doing, whether they’ve made it and how long they’ve got left.

Tickets for the show are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203.
