A WYTHALL vet clinic is hosting a charity quiz night to raise money for a local animal charity.
The quiz takes place on Saturday, May 9 at 7pm at the E57 Social Club on Alcester Road South in aid of The Animal House Rescue.
Leigh Hinsley, practice manager at YourVets Wythall, on Alcester Road, said: “We’re raising funds for the charity to help support all the hard work they do. The latest animal they rescued is a stray dog named Geoffrey who was hit by a car and had a very badly fractured leg.
"The Animal House Rescue stepped in and paid for his leg to be amputated rather than him being put to sleep, and he's now healthy and happy and looking for a new home.
“We think the work they do is invaluable and so are encouraging people to come down and show off their general knowledge prowess, as well as enjoy a fun night with friends and food.”
Teams of six can enter and tickets must be purchased in advance from YourVets Wythall on 01564 823 825.
Tickets cost £6.50 per person and a buffet is provided.
