SUNDAYS in a country corner of Redditch will never be the same again.
Thundering over the Worcestershire plain towards Feckenham are The Buffalo Gals – and they’ve caused a stampede.
Very often performers at the village hall shows claim to be “on the way to the top”.
Well, The Buffalo Gals have already got there.
They’re the country's favourite old-time country string band.
Firmly rooted in traditional American music, with an authentic sound driven by fiddle, banjo, percussive step dance, and soaring harmonies, they produce an irresistible show packed with excitement, passion and fun.
It not only features music, but a whole team of dancers who will be performing a repertoire of dance styles.
The stampede is charging into Feckenham courtesy of Shindig - the county’s performing arts scheme which aims to bring live arts to people's doorstep.
The Buffalo Gals Stampede, sponsored by Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and Redditch Borough Council is at Feckenham Village Hall on Sunday, May 10 at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 and are on sale at the Village Shop and The Rose & Crown in Feckenham or online at ticketsource.co.uk/feckenham.
