ORIGINALLY from Wales and now happily ensconced in Bewdley, Deborah Rose is firmly established as one of the leading figures on the Worcestershire music scene.

Her emotive style, so brilliantly showcased in her last album Song be My Soul, has in the past drawn inspiration from Eva Cassidy, the shores of Scottish glens and the lyrics of famous poets.

Now Deborah is embarking on a new venture and collaborating with The O'Farrells Frolicks and Americana trio Grey Wolf in a new album called Wilde Wood.

To celebrate the launch of this enticing concoction of Celtic folk and bluegrass music, Deborah will be joined by The O'Farrells Frolicks and Grey Wolf at a concert at Bromsgrove's Artrix on Thursday, March 5.

The concert precedes Deborah’s tour with American songwriter Jimmy Webb which begins in April.

The O’Farrells Frolicks will be playing an amazing array of instruments such as the violin, whistle, guitar, vocals, melodeon, bodhrán, banjelele and ukulele.

Grey Wolf will be adding to the mix with Jim Allen on banjo, Martin Thomas on guitar, mandolin and vocals, and Ben Walsh on fiddle.

From a Scottish air or murder ballad to an Irish jig, Deborah and these talented musicians will take you on a journey of musical traditions and lyrics from both sides of the Atlantic.

Deborah Rose featuring The O’Farrells Frolicks and Grey Wolf start at 8pm.

Tickets cost £12 and can be obtained from the box office on 01527 577330 or online at artrix.co.uk.
