PEOPLE in Redditch and the surrounding district are being invited to attend a performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe held at the Palace Theatre in Alcester Street.
The comic opera with will be put on by the Astwood Bank Operatic Society, running from Wednesday, March 11 to Saturday, March 14 with performances at 7.30pm.
An additional matinee performance will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 2.30pm.
The opera follows the story of a beautiful fairy named Iolanthe, who is banished for 25 years for marrying a human.
Astwood Bank Operatic Society was founded in late 40s as the Astwood Bank Baptist Operatic and Dramatic Society.
