REDDITCH rockers Byron Hare have announced plans for a show at the town's Palace Theatre.

The band, who released their much anticipated debut EP, Sleep on the Fire, at the end of last year, will be playing the prestigious venue next month.

The six-piece have quickly built up a growing reputation, playing both local gigs as well as touring outside of the area.

Throughout last year they headlined festivals and were played on a number of radio stations, including Radio One.

Commenting on facebook about the show the band said: "The problem with Redditch is that there isn't a real purpose built venue. We took that into consideration, pulled some strings, got a few people on board and sorted a show out."

Tickets for the February 6 show, which sees support from Aalia Large and local lad Straina, cost £5.
