RESIDENTS are being invited to enjoy a fabulous fairytale at Feckenham Village Hall.

Rumpelstiltskin sees a king whose kingdom is going to rack and ruin as crops fail and his subjects are getting really cheesed off.

When he is bailed out by a Miller's daughter, who can spin straw into gold, little does he know her secret bargain with an odd stranger who's promised to help her out.

This traditional tale from the Brothers Grimm rattles along with some dark and scary moments.

The show, presented by Northumberland Touring Theatre, features music, magic and, that essential ingredient of any family show – lots of laughs.

Smaller children will be able to sit on mats near the stage so that everyone can get a good view of the action.

Rumpelstiltskin is at Feckenham Village Hall on Sunday, January 25 starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the show, suitable for anyone 6-years-old and over, cost £10 (under 14s £7) from the Village Shop and The Rose & Crown in Feckenham.
