BROMSGROVE women can have fun, get ahead with their Christmas shopping, and raise money for charity.

Mum's Night Out is being held on Wednesday, November 12, at the Court Leet Pub, Hungry House, in Worcester Road.

The free Christmas bazaar features stalls from local businesses including crafts, skincare, cosmetics and health products, fashion items and Christmas gifts and decorations.

There will be a psychic medium giving readings, and some local beauty therapists offering a range of treatments on the night - some of which will be free.

Vendors and services will be offering sizeable discounts.

The bar will also be open and there will be a DJ.

The night has been organised by two mums and small business owners Lauren Jones and Crystal Weber, who met at a local toddler group.

Crystal said: "We agreed there were very few local opportunities to sell our wares, which got us thinking: why don't we organise our own opportunity?"

Lauren said: "The event has really take off.

"The stalls sold in mere weeks.

"Our next hurdle will be getting local ladies through the door. The more, the merrier."

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Childbirth Trust, the national charity supporting new and expectant parents through their first 1,000 days of parenthood.

The night is taking place from 7.30pm until 10.30pm. Admission is free. For more on the charity visit nct.org.uk.
